Minissian is a joke...he was an embarrasment in CART and hasn't done much better in his current series
Wasn't that ASCAR, and isn't he champion, against Darren Turner, Kelvin Burt, Jason Plato, etc? I'm no fan of Minassian, but let's keep the facts in mind!

I'd love Stig to be Perry, but if it was, wouldn't it make sense to let him talk? He's got to be one of the most entertaining guys you could ever meet, even funnier than Clarkson.

All signs point to the Stig being Nicholas Minassian

Woolley, spot on. As you say Minassian is this years champion. He was also runner-up in F3000. He didn't fair too well in CART, but although he joined a good team they had too rookies and he has no one ot learn from.

Overall I think he's a good driver. (sorry a little off topic)

OVERSTEER, as much as I'd love the sig to be Damon Hill, i just fail to see how they would manage to keep his hair inside his helmet the whole time.

Lordy lordy, I'm still on tapes of the "old" top Gear, with Vicky and Needel, haven't even seen one of the newer ones! Did hear that it changed and they chucked everyone out, (and had heard about a mystery driver) so i can't wait to see him/her/it meself. (especially an Aston nearly becoming a lump)

Full marks go to Dan Friel, with help from his sprinting vicar, and special praise to Xid Prozac who said all along that it was Perry McCarthy!!

is the stig one of these 2 on screen people who did not agree with the re shuffle at Top Gear that someone on this forum told us about. He must be leaving then? Someone said 2 were leaving because of a reshuffle they didn't agree with.

Someone also said it was Nick Minassian... wouldn't necessarily read too much into what's posted as fact on an internet forum - take everything with a pinch of salt.
