Interesting twist on the gulf color....lol

Also, Olivier Baretta signed with JML Panoz along with Gunnar Jeannette...the former was certainly a surprise....

You should have seen the original paintjob that was going to go on the UK R8, would have been *the* le mans paintjob

I see they have picked up the Infineon sponsorship from the Joest cars, or will this appear on all Audi R8's this year?

i think it looks great. I really don't know why some people think that the R8 is ugly.

You don't hear us younger people telling you older people that your cars were ugly (mainly because that would be sacrilege)

But to be honest these modern cars are not ugly, they're just as beautiful in their own way.

As Joest are racing as "Infineon Team Joest", it's safe to say they'll be carrying Infineon sponsorship; don't know about Champion or Goh, though.

It isn't that ugly (although I have used the "butt-ugly" term in the past, I admit). It just isn't that much of a looker, as far as I'm concerned. Compare it with the Bentley - no comparison at all - this year's or last years!

It's the finer details of that audi that make it so beautiful, i know it's not so clean as the Bentley (not including the monster they've just made [and i say that in a good way])

The shape of the nose, the headlamps, the whole fron end in fact, the aggressive wings, the minute details here and there, and of course, it's beautiful to watch and hear on track, effortless

Yes, I can't disagree with any of that, but somehow, it just doesn't do anything for me, in the way that a McLaren F1 or a Toyota GT One or a Jag XJR did.

All a matter of taste, I guess.
