Michelin must be the new tire make in GT300. Are the tires for the JAF GT300 cars a softer compound than the GT3 machines?

Team KTR (Hankook KTR) will participate in GT300 class by MY2013 997 GT3R according to official team twitter.

Samurai, do GT3/GT300 use same tire compound type? Or are you not sure?

I don't know about that.
But all JAF-GT cars have inboard suspension unlike FIA-GT3 cars.
Therefore, I think JAF-GT can use more aggressive tire (soft compound?) than FIA-GT3.

Bandoh could do well with a driver with speed like him. Itd be nice to see them get good results.

Here not in the news, but last month Eric Boullier told than trying to help former GP2 driver Jose-Maria "Pechito" Lopez, one choise is the Super GT and the problem not economic, need to find a good team place. '

He seems to get an offer from team Arnage (Vantage GT3).
But he says that the team needs the sponsor.

that's something I would like to know too.If A Speed not related to AAA everything would like easier to Arnage as they strong possible to continue

So they were not necessarily withdrawn for financial difficulty.
Therefore, they may become a sponsor of Arnage.

that explains why when i tried looking up what zent was at work one day, their website was blocked for "gambling"

They aim at the participation in GT300. However, they may stop participation this season. The possibility of company name change etc cannot be denied, either.

Another Toyota team bites the dust and they now joined with the likes of Team Tsuchiya. I guess 5 Lexus teams will be competing this year!
