F1 Results Prediction Competition - Standings after Round 4, FINALLY!!!
FINALLY, here is the update from the Results Prediction Competition after the San Marino Grand Prix. Sincere apologies for the huge delay, which was due to a severe, unforeseen error in the software, which made it impossible to get any results out of it at all.
Big thanks to Bononi, who has worked hard to fix this, and who found a solution which meant only a minimum amount of extra work for me - cheers, Bon! Thanks also to Maxmil and Red, who contacted me and asked whether they could help. Scoring the competition manually was one of the options we considered - thankfully, we didn't have to do that! There's still one small problem though, and that is that the Round results aren't coming out. Still, I consider this to be a very minor problem, which I'm sure can be fixed quite easily. The main thing is that the overall standings can now be presented! And here they are: Current Standings after #4 round (20/04 - GP of San Marino (Imola)) 1 - 33 points = *formula3*, Tristan 3 - 32 points = mr v 4 - 31 points = AdamAshmore 5 - 30 points = Don K, fastracer, Pitstop, Raven, Speed 10 - 29 points = BootsOntheSide, bulldogspirit, Inigo Montoya 13 - 28 points = avsfan733, climb, hakkiman, Jukebox, nickF1, paulzinho, Valve Bounce 20 - 27 points = Damon, JohnSSC, Tom Fuller 23 - 26 points = alesi95, Asp, Cougar21, Daisy, Kex, Maxmil, pb btcc, senna12, Spritle, wreckless 33 - 25 points = ®îjñtjûh, Mekola, RT, woodbine 37 - 24 points = Wrex 38 - 23 points = Epsilon, fast95pony, Miss Hardt, Red, steve_r, zetta 44 - 22 points = esorniloc, MiniMe, mirwin, mtpanorama, SL 49 - 21 points = aussie_f3, Mark Webber, nicholaswhite, Thorstone 53 - 20 points = allen_overy, CleanTone, DNQ, enemy-ace, f1manoz, jetsetter 59 - 19 points = badoer fan, FastJoel31, kuchi, Laagri, ljakse, Mark F1, nameless, Sato san, the man, x_dt 69 - 18 points = AussieV8, eatapc, EERO, MichaelH, Rafael 74 - 17 points = Kenny W., shiny side up!, Vw gti 16v 77 - 16 points = 903cc, Carla O, D.R.T., Kicking-back 81 - 14 points = ozywoodwards, R 83 - 13 points = Smokey 6 litre, Toth 85 - 12 points = Led ZeppF1 86 - 11 points = golem, gtr69, LucaBadoer, TeddyG 90 - 10 points = AMoffat, Spaced Invader 92 - 9 points = facco, Guy Goddard2 94 - 8 points = Bononi, Yoong Montoya 96 - 7 points = AndyF, Angus987, Bleu, Craggle Racer, Lee Yue Yang, Stranger 102 - 6 points = Aysedasi, GP Racer, Jordi, racer69 106 - 5 points = boom boom, Fish_Flake, Number Juan, The Monster, williamsf1 111 - 4 points = Baby Spice, downforce, SetikX 114 - 3 points = bernoldi chic |

8pts, thought so, yay
And well done guys on getting the software fixed. I was going to suggest that it would be counted manually, and I'd offer to help if needed |

Thanks very much for the results. You guys are stars. I'd worked out that I got 9 points and was hoping to be in with a shout of winning the round, but the overall scoring was very high, no doubt due to the race having a more 'normal', 'predictable' result.
