Your Favourite List List

Everyone loves getting on the forums during the silly season for the latest gossip and team line ups, and obviously massive lists form a very important manner in which to express this vital information. However, I feel that the tireless list makers don't get the glory or kudos that they so richly deserve.

Thus, I feel it is necessary to post a list of my favourite list makers and list related things.

1. Pro Racer (forever the champion)
2. JackBlahBlah (for 3 indentical lists within 10 posts on a thread, bloody top effort that, and one which will take some beating)
3. Racernut7 (a few good entries earlier in the silly season)
4. Razor (I saw a list in there somewhere!)
5. ASH_03 (you too!)
6. stmookeyj033 (needs more lists to move up the pecking order)
7. GTRMagic (people actually enjoy reading your all too infrequent lists)
8. This list
9. TBA (always gets a listing but never a steer, hang in there little fella, your day will come)

Your thoughts/lists?

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.

I thought about going through the 2009 movements thread and counting who put the most lists in (as I am pretty pedantic about things like people posting for the sake of posting)

Then I saw it was 90 pages long and thought much better of it

This sounds right up my alley...

And the winner, with the most amount of lists posted in the entire thread (currently) is...

Racenut7!!

With a grand total of 20 lists he narrowly beats Pro Racer with 19, having only surpassed him yesterday. Here's a complete list:
  1. Racenut7- 20 lists
  2. Pro Racer- 19 lists
  3. JackBlahBlah- 14 lists
  4. Razor & GTRMagic- 4 lists
  5. SJA & stmookeyj033- 2 lists
  6. tiko, motofan, express, EBXR8, ASH_03 and... Chatters - 1 list
A few interesting notes...
  • JackBlahBlah successfully managed to post two near identical lists within 10 minutes of each other
  • Pro Racer was nearly completely convinced that Sprint Gas Racing was to become Tint-A-Car Racing with Steve Owen joining the team, after "GTR predicted it"
  • Jason Richards will apparently be driving two cars next season according to one of Racenut7's lists
I suspect the previous years thread will feature many, many more lists... But that's for another day...

In the words of Homer Simpson- "You tried and failed. The moral of the story is never try"

I don't want to tell the powers that be how to do their job, but I remember in a time and place far far away, there was one master list at the start of the line up predictions thread editing by the forum overlords once things become official or worthy of inclusion...

Fondly remembering a better, simpler time is termed as "NOSTALGIA" and there's probably a seperate section of the BB for that
