I am reliably informed that the no1 man was around but busy talking to drivers

my father had to pass by 4 or 5 times thru the day before he got talking to the guy and even then someone else was waiting to get in line as soon as he finished!

Saw the euroBOSS stand at Autosport. No information and no representatives. No series for me.

surprise surprise... but you have figured out that EuroBOSS is a series and you found a thread to post your thoughts...

can´t be that bad then...

a video was on the screen all day long...from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. plus there was someone on the stand to answer your questions...

maybe you should have asked...

That is a litte bit rude!

I saw the logo on the side of the scruffy white tarp in the barrier that was surrounding the cars.

The Jordan caught my eye and (my wife and I) being ex Jordan Fans were interested as to where we could see it race.

I had heard about EuroBoss by reading the conflicting series destructing threads on this forum and put 2 and 2 together.

There was no one to ask on Sunday when we came past at just after 2 and the screen was blank.

Your rude and patronising reply has thoroughly put me off your series, as has the conflict going on on this forum.

Best of British to you.

sorry to hear that...have been there from thursday to saturday and left 7:00 a.m. sunday morning

to answer the EJ13 question: the car is owned by Andrew Tate and is in racing condition with original engine, electronics and hydraulics. FV10 are running the car for Andrew. The car is for sale though.
Being the ex Fisi car winning the 03 Brazilian GP (last win for Cosworth) it´s worth quite a bit of money.
It would be nice to have it racing with us, but the owner did not decide on this one yet.

did not ment to be rude, but your first comment wasn´t particularly pleasant either ;-)

there´s always room for improvements, so apologies if you were left without any information on sunday...

Hi, I have very many fond memories from my 2 years in Euroboss/Boss, both in terms of the racing and off the track, Roger and Mark who were running the series at the time did a real great job in organising the events and helping all the teams and drivers.

When the lights changed on the grid, we were all out there to try and win, but off the track we all got on really well, I was very lucky and made alott of new friends, some of which i still see from time to time.

I got involved in Euroboss through being introduced to the late wonderful Mr Fred Goddard, we were chatting 1 day, and before i knew it? I was at Donington Park testing 1 of his Formula 3000 Reynards (92D) The car was fantastic to drive, Fred and the boys were real stars and the rest is history!

I beleive the biggest grid we had in 97/98 was about 20+ cars? Great to look at but even better to hear off the start! so i was told at the time.

My 1st formula 3000 Reynard was a 92D in 1997 which i sold and was raced in Euroboss 1999 and in 1998 i had an ex-dams 95D which was a real delight to drive, 99.9% of which was down to Fred Goddard, Braim, Earl and all the rest of the guys hard work and brilliant car set-up! They were truly a wonderful team to drive with, i can honestly say "I have never enjoyed my racing so much as when i was with them" My 95D was sold to a German gentleman to do hillclimb with i believe?

It would be great to see more races back in the UK? but i know from chatting to Roger, Circuit hire/rental time in the UK is so expensive,

This would make a interesting Euroboss/Boss car although it would be a little on the slow side compared to more modern machinery.

They wouldnt be good enough against the cars they are running today, and they longer have a F3000 class.

I let Roger know at the Autosport show, for the right deal, I could be interested in coming out again for 1 or 2 races, but i would only be interested in doing UK Events. + i could bring an amount of TV Exposure.

Duncy you missed the point dear!
it was not about competitive it was cheap race cars hence my VFM is an F3000 car
if 4 cars turn out each race then there WILL be an F3000 class
and as for you turning out for the "right" deal define that!

A well peddaled Reynard 95D would be right on the pace. The rapid Chris Woodhouse has proved a F3000 can still cut the mustard in a Lola T90/50. The "other" series has a better class structure for them but there is no UK round.

driftwood how much is a 89D roller worth these days? And are you going to tell me where the trick Moreno/G.Brabham Reynard 88D is hiding?

early/mid 90s F3000 cars are around...Peter Milavec still has 2 Lola T92/50, both in mint racing condition...and for sale...one of them with 3.0 DFY, the other one with 3.5 DFR...

another one of our customers just bought some Nippon cars in Japan and is therefore selling his 94/95D with fresh Judd CV 3.5...

if anyone´s interested to do one or two races in Peter´s T92/50 DFR, i´m sure he´ll put together a fair deal...

89 90 cars on the button fresh motor etc £30k ish
92/3 cars will cost mid to late 30`s
94 /5 cars 45-60k

thats why i say VFM car is an 89 f3000 car its fast enough to give a thrill! What is the cost of £ per tenth of a second per lap performance over a later model car ?
Asd we see in F1 they will spend 5 million to go 1 tenth faster than last years car
but as club racers will you spend £50k to go 1 second faster than an 89 car at aprox half the cost??
In racing terms yes racers WILL but a track day fun driver would not and this is why there are many older fast cars for sale that racers do NOT buy to race
