I think Alpine stays the course. I was wondering if they were able to close the gap now that they all had to stop on track together.

track workers did a great job to get things cleaned up and put back. On the replays it looked like some debris made it over the catch fence. Hope nobody was damaged on the other side and somebody came away with a souvenir.

Lopez made 2 unforced errors in one lap which totaled the car with it ending up on its roof. If I was Toyota I'd fire him on the spot.

yeah just watched replay, first crash 100% lopez mistake, the big crash it seems car had basically no brakes

Might be a bit harsh, yes he made a mistake but most factory drivers have misjudged a gt overtake in a similar fashion.

It's not the first time he's overdriven a damaged car to make more problems but if you can't identify what we could see on the onboards as the bodywork was loose pulling away from the wall the first time AND you couldn't not hit a GT car with NO ONE ELSE CLOSE, maybe you shouldn't be in the car.

It's a VERY quick storm line but it's Sebring so canopies are about to get destroyed I think.

I do have a question for the Europeans following here. What regs are about for lightning storms? Boy Scouts here in Georgia have had multiple events with kids getting electrocuted on fencing in the last 15 years so they are VERY VERY particular about it and all camps have detectors.

Earlier today a storm came through Georgia and this was the previous 30 min of strikes.



I am surprised the track isn't making the teams come in from the straight but guess the law may only cover the workers or FIA has said sure guys, we'll be there. I mean I'm not one to really go move myself until it starts raining and go sit in the truck but still.

And that's DARK on the straight there on camera and given how bright it usually looks even when dark on camera. And red flag again with 33 min left with heavy rain coming in, not sure who's doing the FIA forecasting but NOAA says heavy rain not sprinkles. That sky color is not a nice sight if you're camping, looks good but not for your tent

I like the optimistic "One day we'll come to Sebring and not have the race impacted by rain or weather."

A few podium positions seem to have changed. In P2 and maybe GT-Am.

Will just see what the results say in the morning - but looks like Prema thought they had third and now don't.
