Ages. For an organisation based on speed, the MSA is incredibly slow at certain things!

You can view the blue book online at www.msauk.org, click on 'Member Publications'. You need to set up a log on first with your msa number (which it sounds like you don't have). There is also the option now of a public log on, which I assume allows you to see all publications (but I might be wrong...)

I have 2 copies (2008) going spare if needed. Is there a marshals organisation who operate a "lending library" policy that I could send them to or is 1st come / 1st served the only option ? Julian Easytrack PBMW / Toyo Tires Racing Saloons |

You more than likely wont see your reg card untill the MSA do all the renewals at the end of 2008.

I waited almost 2 yeaes for my first Reg card.
You should be able to get your upgrade as long as you have the sigs to back you up, go through your club if your amember of one. |

First application Jan 2007 - heard nothing. Second application early March 2008, still waiting in spite of phoning & being told they had my application. Beginning to think, why bother?
The words "p***up" and "brewery" come to mind. |

Sent mine very end of Feb and it returned in early April, seemed like a very long time but now it sounds like it wasn't that long at all!
I've got a copy of the 2008 regs as a PDF (32mb) so i rather imagine it can be downloaded from somewhere? |

They don' just do marshal's grading cards. They also do Scrutineers, timekeepers C of C.,Msa Stewards, competitors licences and rally and sprint/hillclimb cars logbooks also.It will take time for them to get them all done.

It also depends on when your primary club forward your documentation to the MSA, so let's not lay all the blame at their door!

Like we could stay away from a race meeting that long, unless you wanted to strike monday - friday only... MSA had made an announcement in january that they had cleared 10,000 applications by then. thats some doing |

I did not wait long for my registration documents to be returned to me. I think I only waited about 6 weeks for the attending a training day and filling out all the paper and having the grading card and all the paperwork landing on the door mat.
Had to do my 1st couple of events without my grading card as the training day was followed quite quicly by 2 race meeting which I attended |
