M.Lowe should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will 6R4's be allowed to compete in next years british Rally X ch'ship?

I think that you should be allowed to run whatever you have as I dont think the ch'ship will bring back the Europeans just because they allow ERC spec cars

The 6R4's will still be able to run but I think they'll have to gain a bit of weight (I think the minimum weight for the class has increased). The same applies to Dorans RS200 although I assume he'd also have to fit a restrictor (not sure if the 6R4's would get the restrictor as well as they have no turbo).

It's a shame to see the end of the group B cars but they're starting to be edged out by the newer machinery based purely on performance - Doran has said as much himself, the RS200 has reached it's full potential - there's no room to improve it without some serious rework. The newer cars have active diffs and that's killing the RS200. The 6R4's are generally behind the RS200 on pace so are suffering even more.

By moving to ERC regulations it's hoped that either european drivers may make appearances in the uk or that uk drivres will drive in europe. Either of these should in theory be a good thing as it may help to raise the profile of the sport.

If the 6R4 is to have weight added I dont think its right if they do put a restrictor on it as say if you have an engine with single plenum and your only running a clubaman engine that is gonna strangle the power

I think the Metro is pretty much outclassed anyway, only with a driver like Lawrence could it stay conmpetitive.
I hear that Pat may still race the RS anyway as he couldn't find anything to replace it with other than a Focus and he doesn't wanna drive one of those
