Ho yes, Monsieur is perfect. Just from my experience, take care if you intend to sail to Sicilia from Genova. Ferry schedules are somewhat romantic over there… We entered our RSR moons ago (was it 75 or '76) in W championship and missed the ferry! Captain said he was fed up waiting and just went!

Over on Castle Combe's website it is confirmed that the Autumn Classic will expand to two days on September 20th/21st although apart from FISCAR there is no news of the series which will be competing. Unfortunately at Thruxton, just over forty miles down the road, over the same weekend the TCR UK series will be supported by the Classic Touring Car Racing club...

I think the other races will include the GT and Sports Car Cup; HRDC Gerry Marshall Trophy (Grp. 1 saloons); HRDC Allstars; HRDC Jack Sears Trophy; Classic Alfas; Classic Ferraris; Mini Se7ens and Mini Miglias.

Thanks for that kipper, according to the HRDC website they will be at Castle Combe on the Sunday. Looking forward to the Gerry Marshall race in particular as the GTSCC version put on a great display with only a small grid in 2022. That is if I don't go to Thruxton instead for the TCR UK and the CTCRC ...

Just a note to say that the VSCC have moved our FISCAR Spring Start race to Sunday, 21st April.

I received an email on Saturday from Goodwood confirming that the 81st Members Meeting is to be held on the 13th and 14th of April. The first race to be confirmed is an all Ford Mustang race, the cars to be powered by sustainable fuels. Also on the programme will be a demonstration of up to twenty Can Am cars.

• August 2-3: Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at Schenley Park
• August 10-11: Monterey Pre-Reunion at Laguna Seca

Also, the SVRA moved the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen one week earlier to August 22-25.

Not only the schedule is somewhat strange with Q Saturday night and race Sunday early in the morning. With only 30' of qualy and some teams using three drivers for the same car, they'll have to think about some improvements for next year. As to the rules saying that each driver must drive during qualy they'll have to turn a blind eye on the grid! Yes Lambert fast and consistent, he bagged several 3'13 something before the red flag.
