RSQ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lotus TC Head question

I have a lotus TC in my single seater, and a basket case spare with no head. Does anyone know of a good source of heads?

imull has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
You could try Historic Rally Sport based somewhere in South Wales. They build most of the historic Mk1 Escorts so will be able to help or point you in the right direction...

Anything in particular I should lok out for? I have been told the heads suffered from cracking, with the ports migrating and therefore mismatching inlet gasgets, manifolds. Is this true?

the most common fault on TC heads os waterway corrosion, I think . . .easliy rectified by a good welder.

Inlet manifold are part of the head . . .so not sure about mismatching.

Nick Stagg might be worth a call, he is well up on Lotus twin cam engines, or try The Lotus Cortina spares centre, Terry Bachelors keeps lots of stock of twincam stuff

Excellent, thanks for that, do you have the contact details for QED.

QED. AFAIK well worth it but a bit pricey... There is a shevvit rallying in south wales with a QED engine and it is a monster.

you get waht you pay for by all accounts.
