Webber press conference
Mark has appeared in a press conference on his return to Australia. No decision has been made about his future, however discussions are taking place with three teams.
The news bulletin suggested that an annoucement will not be made untill September. I guess patience will be required. Three teams? Presumably Minardi & Jaguar but who else? Any suggestions or rumours? |

Jaguar appears to be the best bet at the moment, but wouldn't Renault (or Briatore) also have a say in where he goes?
Wherever Webber goes, he'll prove to be just as competitive as he has been in the Minardi. |

I dunno. That's why I asked.
If this Jordan-Ford rumour is true, then Mark should be going for that as well. That could turn out to be a really competitive seat if he's lucky. But from what I just read there are 3 seats still available for Mark to take his pick from (or for the teams to pick Mark). |

da Matta and Webber at Toyota?
Fisi and Webber at Ford-Jordan? PDLR and Webber at Jag? Possibly Minardi? |

Then of course, if HHF is leaving Arrows, there would be a spare seat there for someone.

Does anyone know where I can find a transcript for this press conference (if one is available)?

I'd like to see Webber get 2 years with Toyota. They have a good history in MS and the right attitude. As much as I like Jag, the support from Ford still seems a little up in the air.

Jaguar are a complete joke and have been steadily getting worse over the years. I would prefer Webber to stay at Minardi and wait for a better drive. Sounds a bit silly but Jaguar seems to destroy peoples careers.... Not a happy place to be.
