Where does Tony need to place ???
According to Jayski, the magic number is 9th.
Tony Stewart can clinch the Winston Cup Drivers Championship by finishing 9th or better in each of the last 3 races and no one can catch him if he does. Tony needs to average 136 points a race the last 3 races. 9th is worth 138 points. (Don't forget a driver gets 5 points for leading the race.) (If Tony can lead each of the last 3 races, it would be 10th or 11th.) |
