Let's just wait and see, this morning here in the south of Holland it was soaking wet and now the sun shines and temperature is very nice. I'll try to take this weather with me to Le Mans tonight.

If you can make the sun shine at night in France, I'm sure you'll become very famous.

I thought the organisers had that sorted? They think the sun shines out of their collective rears, after all....

Latest accuweather says some scattered rain for the first 3 hours of the race and clear after that

Hello everyone... trust you are all now back at home and recovering from a great race. In trying to piece together everything that happened during the 24 hours, I have a weather-related question. In the "Audi Race Facts" bulletin for Hour 2, it is asserted that there was light rain at 4:30pm (Saturday). I haven't found any other (reliable) reference to this.

I am sure there were enough ten-tenths contributors out there in it to have noticed, if indeed it happened. Or can I put it down as a totally dry race?

Hello Paul, thanks for the great things you guys gave us at the track and worlwide on the net.
I heard it too that there was talk of a light rain, but that must have been on the other side of the track cause I did not encounter any rain during the race at the village area.

Paul, I didn't feel any rain at any time during the race. And certainly not at 4.30 on Saturday afternoon.

I was at tertre Rouge at that time and did not notice any rain. Or at anyother time during the race.

It was extremes of both really. One night I had a nice little footbath in my tent, but I am also sporting a rather nice sunburn on my right arm. Only at Le Mans...

I agree with that!!!
No rain during race as far as I am concerned.
4:30 Saturday I was above Mansell's unused pits.

No rain felt after 9AM on race day at poste 106. That was after 9 hours of it hosing down, so suspect there was nothing left to come down!!!!!
