Pictures Needed!!! ALMS and Le Mans.

Hi guys. I am looking for general paddock pictures from the ALMS and Le Mans, anything showing hospitality units, grid girls, big brand sponsorship. Particuarly intrested in the Patron bar/hospitality unit, the Penske set up or any of the North American series set ups that look impressive. Took a bunch of pics myself at long beach but managed to lose my memory stick. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps on a side note if anyone can think of any iconic race cars with alcohol related branded, I would be intrested to hear. (except for Nascar)Cheers

Wow Blue, four posts in four years - you're a man of few words

Could I ask what you want the pictures for and what you are planning to do with them?

Iconic alcohol sponsored cars..

The Miller Porsche 962's from IMSA in the 80's (Busby?).. It won Daytona, IIRC..
Warsteiner works BMW M3's from the late 80's
Lotus cars in the early 80's had courage brewers sponsorship..
Labatts Sierra Cosworths in BTCC

Absolutely any Martini sponsored car.. Particularly Lancia LC1, LC2 and Monte Carlo.. Lancia Delta rally cars.. Porsche 935 and 936.. also the 917's

And 956/962, and various BMW teams over the years.

Lowenbrau 962s, I think over in the USA?

I rather think I'd want to know why you needed them first.......

Like the woman who wanted my pic of Schumacher with his team mates in 91 at Le Mans, omitting to tell me that it was for her book.......

Thanks for the input guys. I need some pics for a sponsorship proposal I am putting together. I have some of my own but I am not a photographer and would like to have a decent pool of interesting pictures to work with. Little details all add up to make a difference sometimes.

That was Al Holbert's team,

funny enough Lowenbrau was to sponsor the Group 44 Jaguar, but Lowenbrau wanted their lion logo and Jaguar wanted their car logo, but the latter execs felt that it made the car look like a zoo and turn it down, as a result, Lowenbrau jumped ship to Al Holbert in 1984. They switched to the Miller sponsorship in 1988 and then to Busby the following season following the collapse of Holbert's team following his death.

As for others, will Kingfisher beer count for Force India

The gold Warsteiner cars.

Toj sportscars and F2, BMW M1's and Porsche 962's all carried the livery.

Prince Leopold Von Bayern, who I think was part of the family that owned the brewery also drove. How good must that be, be a Prince, own a brewery and drive Race cars, bet he was as ugly as bucket of ********s as well.

Gerry M once said to me "You lucky ******* , I've tested plenty of the stuff but never been sponsored by a brewery"
It must be my George Clooney looks !
