It warms them I suppose, but you probably lose a lot of the rubber you'd warmed! I do wonder if it does more damage than good. Having said that if you don't need to double stint it probably doesn't matter.

#48, which is Jimmie's car although he hasn't driven it yet, struggled to make a turn.
