Mosler Paintings

Here are two examples of paintings I have done that use the same drawing of the Mosler, but with very different results.
The view I have chosen shows off the attractive lines of this sportscar very well, so I decided to use it for both 24 x 18in paintings.
The first was painted for Martin Short of the Bathurst 24 hour race in 2002. Just coming onto Conrod straight.

The second was painted for Andy Britnell, of this years Rolex Daytona 24 hour race. Both the same view, angle of the car but with different locations, colour schemes and small technical differences, they look totally different.
This one being in portrait format but still at the same size. I hope you like them.

Thanks Hoonboyz.Incidentally, talking to Martin at Brands at the weekend, the small black dot just above the 't' on the word 'Visit' (on the front of the car) is a device that sends out a high pitch sound to frighten off any kangaroos that might fancy hopping onto the circuit! He is returning with the car to do the 24 hour race this year - hopefully one position better than 2nd place last year.

Hopefully, turtles are warned by the device too.

Andy, it's a testament to how good your paintings are that it doesn't look like you're holding a picture in a frame. It looks more like a TV set, or better yet a hole in reality with a Mosler coming through it!
