According to Autosport Murray Walker is to miss the Brazilian GP (his 2nd in over 50 years!).
He will be replaced by James Allen. |

It didn't say.
I remember that when he announced his retirement that it was said that he would probably only cover 12 of the 17 races though. Autosport says he will probably also miss the Spanish and European races. He is supposedly "winding down". |

James Allen has absolutely NO personality whatsoever, and him and Martin together, analysing pitstops and strategies (wrongly) would be totally unbearable

There could be worse commentators replacing Murray than James Allen...but then again there could also be better.

James Allen....argh...he's a pain in the arse! I think it would be cool if Irv went into commentating...now THAT would make me stay at home!

James Allen sucks. He's too ferrari biased, he's even written a book about Schumacher to declare his love. At least 60% of the time he was talking about Schumacher "lets watch the best driver in the world" - complete drivel. At least Murray used to cheer on other drivers/teams, JA can't take it when someone beats Schumacher like last year at France, he went all quiet when DC passed his man.
Go away, your even worse than Martin Haven. |

It's all OK to say who you don't want, but please put some ideas forward. of who you do want.
Mine would be Jeramy Clarkson or our Tiff. Both very good TV presenters with a good knowledge of racing. All you pollsters where is the poll ???? Simon |

I don't know their names, but the 2 commentators on F3000 Eurosport last night were pretty good, even managing to decipher the extremely odd standings lists

Commentators on F3000 were Ben Edwards (usually he does CART) and Gareth Rees (Former F3000) driver.
They both did a good job. Gareth did it last year but this was Bens first F3000 race for a while. He kept calling Darren Manning, "Darren Turner" for some reason. Gareth had a slight laps at the end when he said "Blo*dy Hell Justin!" |
