Has Moreno got a drive?
Has Roberto been confirmed yet? I keep hearing rumours of him and Herdez running a second car but nothing official.... anyone know whats happening?

According to Moreno, they have a deal, but apparently there's still some paper work to finish.
Although, another driver will be announced today. |

I think Emmo is to announce today. As for Moreno, I'm pretty confident that he'll be announced very soon. I think he's already been assigned the number 4.

Herdez Motorsports is also taking the old hand guiding the young pup approach as 43-year-old Roberto Moreno joins 28-year-old Mario Dominguez. Moreno, who sat out last year, has two wins on his resume and is regarded as one of the best chassis readers in open wheel. He's not signed a contract yet but will be participating here this week.
Dale Coyne is mounting a two-car assault for his full-time comeback with rookies Joel Camathias and Roberto Gonzalez. |

The confirmed list stands at 16. Chalk in Moreno, Gonzales and Monteiro and I think there are gonna be 19 cars at St.Petes!
 I'm beginning to think that Emmo was so intent on having a team this year, that the infamous "19th engine" that was ordered from Ford many months ago must have been his. |

For some reason, I'm still expecting to see Yoong. He's gotta spend his money somehow! But time is running short.
Another good thing about these 19 entries is that there stands to be six Reynards!

Maybe Yoong will be one of the mid season guys. Despite his poor F1 showing, most would probably hire him over some of the guys who are getting rides. Not to bash them, but their numberical records don't seem to add up to the normal CART standards. Regardless, I'm expecting a few surprises.

I think h'll be in mine as soon as the paperwork is completed, he is doing pretty well for a rusty old fighter in the Spring Testing.

Moreno is pretty well settled. I have no doubt he'll line up at St. Pete.
Yoong is doing a Memo Gidley Pitwalk only he's got his briefcase with him -- rumour has it he'll be Coyne's No. 2 driver at least for the present. |

It does say in this weeks autosport that moreno has been officially confirmed at Herdez.
