No Silverstone GP either, unless James has something up his sleeve. And nothing to plug the big gap in SOM in July and August!

I think that there may be a GP meeting this year, should be confirmed either way in the coming months.

Last year they formed part of what was then known as "King of Kents" though. This year the BRSCC have taken that title for their own it would seem.

Season starts at Silverstone 21st March 04 with Star of Midlands race followed by 28th March at Donington. The Silverstone SoM race is on a BRDC race meeting.
So this years SoM will have ten rounds, Silverstone x 2, Donington x 1, Mallory (SH) x 2 Mallory (DH) x 2 and Rockingham.

Daly Systems Ltd pleased to announce that they are sponsoring the championship for a third year and are supporting the prize money at each event.

The Silverstone 21st March date does not appear on the latest BRSCC provisional list but it IS GOING AHEAD as of today.

Is the King of Kents the national champ that was talked about or is that another champ. I can't believe tou have so many champ's over there it's spreeding FF1600 out alot over there, with about 46 races for FF1600 in the year does this make sense ?

Having read the regs for king of kents, am i right to think that the best 3 of your local rounds count towards the title? - and that you get points according to the number of starters?
Therefore if you win 3 coombe races that can start , i think 33 cars you would get 99points.If you won 3 oulton races that can only start 26 cars you would get 78 points, mallory with a limit of 26 cars gets 78 points and Angelsey which starts 20 cars with 3 wins gets 60 points!
So then you go and do the stand alone races and guess what?, the guy whos got a lead of 21 points before you start has a race on his circuit! - Coombe!
Surely ive read the regs wrong !
If i were a cynic id swear someone with coombe interests had written them - what is wrong with using stand alone races - coombe oulton brands and silverstone one circuit from each centre as one off races to find the REAL king of kents 04?

Dave, just got back from the show. The points system is up for review next week as a lot of people have voiced a negative view on the points system.

I will post the changes to the NWFF championship once I have got myself a beer!!

Me thinks lots of cider will need to bought to sort this type of debacle, to me its another example of people meddleing with things that should be quite simple, cant wait for the walter hayes, simple format no bullsh!t, great racing and no BRSCC for miles!
