Scorp Motorsport could enter a prototype in LMES in 2004... which one, we don't know, but why not a Courage C60 or C65 ? And why not at LM 2004 ?

Since the FIA SCC has been brought up...will this series be running next year? I was doing a search on the web but didn't come up with anything in terms of a schedule. It would be a shame to have that run against the LMES.

The FIA-SCC is gone....
Stick a fork in it....it is done... The LMES is replacing it.... |

Just picked up a bit more information from Autosport and DSC on possible entries for GTS:- Larbre Competition with a Prodrive built Ferrari 550, The return of the Pagani Zonda, Scuderia Ecosse are looking to run a Ferrari 575 GTC, Philippe Alliot is thinking about running a Ferrari 550 and finally the Joest run Murcileago's. All I have to say to that little lot is wow Le Mans 2004 is going to be one hell of a race......

With the lack of any big works teams to dominate LMP1, plenty of well sorted 550's(or 575), Vipers, and corvettes.
the normal 911 hordes being chased by ever improving 360's, 2004 could well be the best race since the Mclaren's suprise win. Roll on 2004 BTW will happy Jacque team up with the soon to be displaced DC in an Audi run by 'Audi Monaco', stranger things have happened. |

Quick update on the automatic entries, Lister do not now have one, the one they had has now gone to BMS Scuderia Italia. Not quite sure why Lister have lost there entry.

Does that impact on Lister's likely involvement (other than having to qualify obviously)?

The difficulties will be for teams as Durango, Taurus, Norma, etc... fortunately (for them), two Bentleys are gone ; unfortunately (fro them again), there'll be a lot of Audi's customers. Let's count 25 prototypes (as in 2003), including 7 or 8 LMP2 and the rest of LMP1 (18 qualified) : - five or six private Audis, - two Pescarolo Courages - two Domes RFH - two Listers - maybe a Panoz GTP ? there's 6 places left : one for Kondo, one for Durango, one for Norma, one for Nasamax, one for a R&S (I hope !), and one guest star, and we're done. |

Autosport reported that Veloqx will be running the Audi UK entry in 2004.
Presumably the change is in an effort to get a more accurate fuel guage! |

Does this mean only one Audi for UK team and Veloqx ? Too bad, I was hoping for one more to win overall, we stay with the four Audis of last year plus the possible Repsol one.
