Well, after a lull, I've finally got some new models....

1/18
2004 Sauber, Fisichella
2004 McLaren, Raikkonen
2001 Williams, Montoya, BMW boxed edition

1/43
2004 Jordan, Heidfeld

All top quality! I would highly recommend the Sauber, it is extremely pretty!

Hopefully my 1:18 1991 Benetton (Schumi) will be made soon.
Along with the 1991 'taxi' Williams, from the British Grand prix.

I only orded them, a good 12 months a go.

Yeah, I pre-ordered the Mansell taxi a good 18 months ago or so! Knowing Minichamps, they could be another couple of years with it!

Hello LJ

The latest update I have seen from Minichamps is that all 2004 Le Mans issues (Porsche, Audi and Chevrolet) are set for release from May 2005 onwards. Now that can mean anything these days when you bear in mind that they have still to release the #68 Viper from the 2003 race.

It would not be unfair to say that Le Mans is not seen as being very important to PMA anymore, and I suspect that the nine cars involved will find their way onto the market between May and the end of the year.

Picked up some of the Spark 2004 cars at a fair last weekend, and also the Q-Model Tenoras Nissan R89C from 1990 which is very good. Also bought the Spark Kremer K8 #16 from 1998. First class model, so can't wait for the others to follow.

The man I buy from also makes hand builts for me, and I collected an excellent Toyota Supra #57 from 1996, a Cougar #30 from 1988, and a Primagaz 956 #12 from 1986.

Bought anything recently?

John

Yes - Inline 996 gt3, Petit Le Mans 2004, Alex Job 996 GT3, Sebring class winner 2003, Rennworks 996 GT3, Daytona 2003.

All Minichamps. Alex Job and Rennworks cars were a bargain, in relative terms, the Inline car was very expensive.

The Tenoras Nissan is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen at the Sarthe.

I will check the Spark website - some interesting releases.

It looks like its due for July, however, originaly last year it was due for September.
The Benetton looks set for May. However, I would expect to arrive, around Autum time, if that.

I'd hope it's a Lola Ford, or you've been conned

Try a post on this forum. There are collectors in Australia who are members and who may have the answer.

Can't offer a whole ready-made, but AB Decals of Germany do the graphics to convert any existing 1/43 BMW 635CSi.

Grand Prix Models in Radlett stocks them, but I'm sure they're not the only ones. Expect to pay maybe £10-£12 for the decal set.

Hope this helps.

Oh - forgot to mention - there are two decal sheets, for either the '86 or '87 cars and all driver options are included.

Bathurst sand-trap diorama, anyone?
