Wow, I hope they talked to the GT-Masters-Teams before making them play second fiddle to the P3s.

I really like the format, but I wonder if it will be viable.

Sachsenring is awesome. I'm glad to have it on the calendar. Spa is a great track, but with so many big events there, DTM would always have a hard time attracting a good crowd there.

The Saschenring and Lausitzring are part of what makes these series. If you put the DTM & Gt Masters on the same tracks as GTWC, itll feel the same as GTWC. Variety is the spice of life eh

Have to admit I actually like the solution they came up with. If all goes as planned I'll try to go attend one of their weekends next year. Will be interesting to see how many entrants both series attract!

Are we sure P3 and GTM are one series now? Because what I keep reading is they're the same tier, but not a single series. They have different races, but are the same level.

"ADAC GT Masters is set to see a dramatic change with the previously solely GT3 based Championship rebranded as DTM Endurance, the GT3s joined on the grid by LMP3 machinery from the new for 2022 Prototype Cup Germany, ADAC still in negotiation with the ACO on the fine details of licensing the package.

DTM Endurance is set to join the DTM package for 6-7 events in 2023".

And so it begins. Land Motorsport are extremely unhappy about the changes to GT-Masters and apparently were not consulted by the ADAC in advance.

Christian Klien also has already indicated that JP Raving will look for a different series to race in.

I’m 90% impressed with how ADAC have handled all this, but the one thing they is a little iffy to me- essentially making Gt Masters teams second fiddle to what was 9 LMP3 cars last year.

LMP3 and GT3 always create awkward clashes. Look at Michelin LM cup…

To me P3 and GT4 would make more sense, but honestly I’d be just fine without any P3 in ADAC/DTM

Have there been any dedicated GT4 and P3 series anywhere? IMSA has one starting for 2023, and I think the mix could be good. For sure the P3 only series in IMSA has been a little dull over the years.

There hasnt I dont think, it makes sense to me. GT3 and P3 are so close in performance, GT4 is surely a better lower tier.
