Le Mans is three times the length of the average track, so a two second gap is well within the realms of factory vs privateer pace.
It's not unusual to see more than two seconds difference between team cars at Le Mans.

All of the leading cars only ran a flying lap or two, there were two red flags. Oreca said yesterday they could run 2.01.
