"Sauber driver Felipe Massa was a little upset with the team orders used in Sunday's German Grand Prix that saw him forced to yield to Nick Heidfeld losing sixth place and a consequent point in the process." Do they have to be penalized as Ferrari had ? |

I completely forgot that..., thanks to remind me what was the reason for the penalty.

I think Massa outraced Heidfeld in Germany..he pulled of an easy pass on Nick..and then went to the head of the pack of 5 cars through some great moves, especially the one on Villeneuve.
Maybe Sauber intends to drop Massa next year so he wants Heidfeld to take the points..if thats the case then Sauber is a fool. Massa is destined for big things. |

Massa is very fast...but he also is way too wild,at least that's what a Belgium engineer working for Sauber said and he has a point...

Hmmm, where is the uproar among fans and media? This may not have been such an obvious use of team orders but considering the outcry of the Austrian incident theres seems little talk about it.

According to Autosport.com, the story is that, when Massa was ahead of Heidfeld being held up by Panis, the team asked him to let Nick through and see if Nick could do a better job. This Massa did, but then Panis spun out, and massa felt that he should have retook the 6th place, and he probably does have a point.

He does have a point. Heidfeld was simply beaten...again by Felipe. Sauber were wrong and they shouldnt get of the hook just because they`re a smaller team. It was a poor decision. Massa has every right to be upset but like he said - we all know who was better than weekend.
It was Felipe not Heidfeld. |

"The team ordered to move over and I did it. I see no problem with that, I'm an employee and I have to obey orders... [He must have watched the tape after the Austrian GP, and repeated the same as RB did...] |

I really feel for Massa. This is the 2nd time this season he's had to move over for Heidfeld.
At the moment he's tying to prove himself and retain his race seat for 2003 and Sauber aren't helping his cause at all. |
