Went there last year on a separate France run (to Montreuil Sur Mer - very nice - although no WiFi in hotel and patchy mobile signal, which made following the Algarve LMS race a touch more hassle than it should have been) and it's really good. Huge difference from past when the French pretty much refused to acknowledge event at all.
