Ticket Prices???

being ENGLISH i love to go to the british grand prix, now for me and my missus, i'm paying for this years race

friday £90 approx
saturday £100 approx (both days general admission prices)
sunday £320 approx (grandstand at copse)

now obviously £510 is alot of money (but worth it imo) but i would like to venture out to "more exotic" locations to watch a race, but i have no idea of what to expect to pay...........

so, if the people of this forum, who are going to the foriegn gp's don't mind me asking........

what can i expect to pay?????

p.s.my dream is to go to canada and watch the gp there to any of you canadian members out there!!

F1FAN should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Re: Ticket Prices???

My girlfriend and I have been to the last 2 F1 races in the states at Indy. It was a little expensive, but worth every penny. We ended up paying about $100.00 for our tickets, and about $600.00 for the hotel, overall for the whole weekend, I guess we spent about $2500.00.

Mr V good seats, which all sold as three day packages are about $350 CDN or $225 US apiece. This is for Silver seats, the second best set. You might try the Canadian GP Website for more info:

Hungarian Grand prix varies from $50 to $300, depending, of course on the position by the track.
That is for Saturday/Sunday.

Mr V, If you buy a three day ticket for Silverstone isn't it cheaper?

I went to French GP a few years ago and a 3 day ticket was cheaper than a race day ticket for Silverstone .

i don't think so.......but aren't the 3 day tickets general admission only?? (as i drag my missus up to silverstone, she'd rather sit in a proper seat, makes it easier to sleep apparently!!)

as for being cheaper as you suggested, i don't think it is as octagon have cut the admission by 30,000 and the rest of us are having to foot the bill!

i think these prices are ridiculous! especially for the friday! days like that should be cheap as in a few extra quid on your raceday ticket, but £90 to see 'em practice? thats scandolous!
