Central European TCC?

I read the Wikipedia article about Andrej Studenic and it said that he raced in the Central European Touring Car Championship in 1997 and 1998. Does anyone have any info about this championship?

Complete results and some photos should be in the Touring Car World annuals for those years, if anyone's got them.- I can post some details later today once I've dug them out.

Thanks! Lots of Czech drivers there. Interesting to see that they raced at Zeltweg, didn't that track host some Formula 2 back in the old days? And it was indeed a long time ago that I saw Croatia host a racing event, is Rijeka still operational?

The Championship ran for three years. 1996-1998!

1996 Champion, Vaclav Bervid in a BMW 318is
1997 & 1998 Champion, Jozef Venc in his Audi A4 Quattro.

Zeltweg in this case meaning the A1 Ring/Osterreichring, rather than the circuit you're thinking of.
