Itinerary for friday and saturday:

friday:
-alarm at 5:00 (this is the ugly part...)
-leave at 6:00
-arrive at Reims 9:00 - 9:30
-visit a SFR shop to get a prepaid simcard for data on my phone
-visit the cathedrale
-12-ish bistro de circuit at Gueux for lunch
-13:00 - 13:30 Circuit de Reims-Gueux
-+/- 16:00 visit the vignoble (vineyard), taste and buy a few cartons of bubbly in the champagnerie next door of my B+B
-18:00 check in in my B+B
-18:30 take a swim in the pool in the garden of my B+B
-19:30 diner in a restaurant near my B+B

saturday:
leave for Beaumont-sur-Sarthe to set up camp on my favourite non-Le Mans campsite, enjoy a tranquile day to prepare for the testday the next day

Seriously, you MUST go. The Friends have done a great job to retain what is left. Sadly I fear the Wimille Grandstand will not last much longer. Spalling has exposed the reinforcement rods in the roof. Right at the back corner, and you can see water marks there as well.
So do it while it's there to be done.
Just search in flickr for images, seeing as I cannot get any links to work...

Thx to Pascal for the tips on the Cathedrale and Palais de Tau! Was a real feast for the eyes!
Thx to Geoff for the tip on 'bistro du circuit'! Was a real feast for the taste buds!
