Even as a Williams fan, I always doubt anyone can beat the Ferrari-Michael combination in a straight fight. Ralf has proved he and Williams can do that. This victory is so much more precious than the San Marino GP, because he did it all by himself and if luck was ever a factor he created it.

That's more to come.

THAT IS WHAT I CALL A RACE...although being a Ferrari fan...i would prefer Ferrari to win...but fair, and great, victory for Ralf...

What amazes me more is how much more faster, YET economical, the Williams BMW engine is...stay out for 50 laps on the limit ...
Its amazing how JPM did not manage to do half as well...

A great victory for Williams. Ralf was always quicker, and knew he could open the gap during Michaels stop. A smart move and it paid off for the team, a great drive for Ralf. JPM, on the other hand, is beginning to make people wonder about him a little bit, no less the other drivers.

And a very quiet 4th for Kimi, in my opinion, the most impressive rookie this year.

When Ralf turned in that lap of 117.5 after Michael pitted, I was shocked. Yeah, he was going to be faster than Michael, but THAT! When Posey announced 117 and paused I anticipated an 8 or 9.

Bottom line: Ralf is fast and I take too much pleasure out of numbers. :-P

Ralf was great - so sucks to all in the past who said he couldn't drive. But as we all know TGF can drive a bit and the Ferrari is no slouch, so how much was down to the Michelins and how much to the BMW. Doubt we'll ever really know. For one - I'm never sad to see a Mercedes/McLaren/Ilmor blow!!

A good win for him - and I bet that overall needs some time in the washing machine after the treatment he got on the podium! Still, he probably won't mind too much! It was nice to see Mika up there again too. Shame about Jacques.

The big thing about that victory was that RALF was simply faster! And remember, JPM had a torrid weekend SO IT CAN'T JUST BE THE CAR. Coo!

No, it can't just be the car. Ralf is clearly making better use of his equipment than JPM at the moment, who still needs to find his feet. This was surely an even better performance from Ralf than when he won in Imola.

Montoya just crashes all the time. One finish in eigth races...

Ralf used to be like that, but has been with the team for a while, and has matured as a driver. That was a nice preformance today.

Well what can I say but

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Ralf drove incredibly well, and no-one can say that he did not outclass big brother today. That was two fingers to those who said he cannot beat TGF in a straight fight, and also to those who claimed that Ralf would be way out of his depth against Montoya.

Bah, I think Michael is also happy with the win of his brother. And more when both can made an one-two... And Ralf drove so well, specially when he intented to pass his brother at the end of the straight... He was careful and finally waited for the pits to catch the first position. Well done Ralf, you deserved the win!

It was a good drive though not sure if it was brilliant. I think Williams deserves a lot of the credit. The car was at least half a second quicker than Ferrari's. Also he never passed Michael on track so it would of been more intersesting if the Ferrari could have pitted later, and therefore letting us see Ralf chase him down.

Well i'm gonna say it. He beat him, but outclass him, no no no.

Well I think they is a big possiblity of 3 more wins as HOCK,NURBERG,USA should suit the willams and there is a chance at SPA but we all know how good MS is there but saying that it will be one hell of a race

Just such a mature drive by RALF realy makes me feel proud that I've being fan since the begining Imola was great by baeting Micheal in a dog fight head to head just made this race the best to date this year
and fast whot was it close to every lap was a new record . WDC not this year but its close than people think

Yeah, classy drive ralf, great to see him hassling his bro TGF!
More drives like that at Silverstone, Monza and Hockenheim to come me thinks.
Also another good result for Alesi in his Prost robin reliant
Has he finished every race this season?

You know the feeling you get when you go out all weekend, pub to pub, pool table to pool table, drink after drink, loud music and endless laughter.

Then you wake up Monday morining already 15 minutes late for work. To find out a German Imposter called Ralf has won his second GP.

They really do give them away in cereal packets don't they?

Ralf should have overtaken his brother on the circuit, there was plenty of opportunities. The Williams was so much faster than the Ferrari. I'm sure if it was Barrichello leading the race Ralf would have made the move.

Check the video again, and you'll see it wasn't a so-easy-move, because big Bro just gave him the inner lane, and at the end of that straight comes a not-so-easy-to-handle set of curves, so, he did the right way, avoiding a potential DNF.

Good call Speed. Ralf didn't need to take the risk. He could probably run 10% lean and get help from TGF tow to save fuel and screw the crout in the pits.

Don't forget Monza Ralfanator - go there and orgasm!!!
