Rally Marshals Training (update)

All,

Some changes to the list of MSA Rally Marshals Training days previously announced, sorry about the delay.

DERBY = Saturday 18th February

BICESTER = Sunday 19th March has changed venue to the Tresham Institute's new joint facility with the BRDC at Silverstone Circuit

CORNWALL = This will be on Saturday 17th June at Cornwall College, Camborne

CHIPPENHAM = This has moved forward one week to Saturday 12th August so as to avoid a clash with the Wuggin Stages at Colerne on 19th August

Still to be confirmed are dates in Cambridge and Huddersfield in the autumn, pre-WRGB.

More info and some updates can/will be found at http://www.brmc.org.uk/training_events_2006.htm very soon

Derek

PLEASE NOTE

Due to a spectactular lack of interest, i.e. only 1 applicant, the proposed free MSA Rally Marshals Training planned for Saturday 25th March in Newtown, Wales has been CANCELLED.

(This is doubly regretable as in 2005 the proposed Rhyl date was cancelled when only 5 people applied and various clubs suggested a mid-Wales venue for 2006 would be better supported, more convenient, etc.)

http://www.brmc.org.uk/newtown_2006.htm

The relevant budget/funding will be returned to the MSA.

For details of the other dates available throughout this year please refer to http://www.brmc.org.uk/training_events_2006.htm and follow the relevant link to the Training day convenient to you for more details, an Application Form, directions, etc.

I am sorry to hear that Derek. Don't know what we can do to get "bums on seats" in this instance.

In respect of the Scotland training on SUNDAY 2nd April.

The following information should be noted :-

Directions to site are downloadable from http://www.brmc.org.uk/scotland_2006.htm and clicking the "BELL COLLEGE" logo.

The Bell College, School of science and technology, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0JB, Link to website with map http://www.bell.ac.uk/college/contacts.htm , just off the M74 Junction 6 onto the A723.

(We apologise for this last minute switch, forced on us when Forth Valley College last week advised that their revised room charges would total more than the entire MSA budget agreed for the day when the original booking was made.)

If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact either Mike Farnworth (MSA Training Committee), or myself.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

In the mean time if you are aware of any colleagues who may also wish to attend please don't hesitate to email their applications to myself at mailto:training@brmc.org.uk , by fax to 01625 869720
