Can anybody answer a question for me?
There seems to be plenty of people that got letters to say yes,
But has any body got a letter to say No rather than no letter in the post??
Im still waiting.

We pre-empted that problem by stating on the forms that our availability was subject to both of us being selected. . . thereby reducing our chances from zero to even less!

Alan Green should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Topping off a thoroughly excellent day, I'm in for flagging

I know there are at least one 'S' and one 'W' name with letters as well. The acceptance doesn't have to be back until the end of the month, so no desperate panic yet.

Anyway, happy as a pig in whatsit, thank you BARC, thank you, thank you, thank you...........

Edit: And remember, the BBC 5Live F1 team will hopefully be spending some time with us for a piece for their coverage (for the rest of the season they're doing pieces about the behind the scenes of F1, think it's the medical car team this week). Will ask if we can get the TV team involved as well

It's not panic, it's more a case of wanting to know one way or the other...not least because, if I'm not in, I'll need to cancel the time off work, and make other plans to do with that time. Not in itself a big deal...but hell, this is essentially a free (busman's) holiday give away, and we all just want to know.

This will be my 1st trip abroad on a plane, can't think of a better reason to get on a plane.

as far as the lower letter theory goes, i've seen surnames with the letter "P" & "V" & "W" who have been accepted, so i guess that theory goes out the window

BROOMPUSHER,

what Airport you going from

Hi all

I'm going, as flaggie,

not to disappoint anyone waiting, but, didn't the original letter say that letters would be sent to those selected only? seemed to suggest there wouldn't be rejection letters sent out.

Ian

"Once the forms have been compiled a letter of acceptance and some additional information will be issued to those selected to attend"

It doesn't say what will happen to those not selected to attend. You could interpret it either way, but it's not conclusive.

Nothing but junk for me either (including a badly targetted flyer for touring cars at Snetterton - after driving there last year from Rochdale I've realised it's a little too far). I'm hoping the postie had too much to carry today.

I'm in! I don't believe it, thank you very much BARC. If I didn't have to drive to Cadwell tomorrow, I would go out and get completely slaughtered! In a professional way ofcourse.
