I see that live coverage does not happen for taupo. It kicks off for the enduros only.
I got this info from their e-newsletter which also outlined the sponsor for taupo which will be called the gull250. Also of interest is what v8st are doing for red nose day....pretty cool stuff.

Thanks for the positive comments regarding TV3's Supertourer coverage, much appreciated. The reason for the Taupo Supertourer TV coverage being delayed by a week is because the deal with ST was only confirmed 10 days ago, to late to change the CRC Motorsport TV Schedule. For the first Enduro at HD we will be back to same day coverage.

Cheers, Nigel

You are obviously well aware that sadly Jeroen wont be partnering SVG here this year, so I guess we will leave it to the team to make the announcement as to who is, however what I can say is that he is exceptionally quick so will be an excellent fit with Shane.

ooooh the plot thickens Pity about Danica I must say, but no one hasn't ruled out my other prediction of Michael Schumacher either....after all he is exceptionally quick.....hehe

Could it be the long awaited return to NZ of Scott Dixon? something that was mentioned for last years enduros.

Onza, do you know when the team are likely to announce this?

Anyone manage to crash the SuperTourers Cure Kids activation day at Aotea Square this afternoon? It was a sad afternoon really. I felt pretty bad for the organisers, it absolutely poured down throughout the whole lunch-break. That said, they did get a few donations to the cause - which is what counts after all Here's few snaps (SVG's Falcon was also meant to turn up, but it sadly didn't).

What a shame, great cause too. Did nobody show up at all?

This country has pretty crap weather most of the time, I am going to live in Hawaii I think.

A few people did later in the afternoon after the rain passed. But certainly not enough to really 'save' the day.

The motorsport appears to be fairly limited, the Mai Tai drinks might balance things out.

Still believe it was perfect when you merged our last two races in between qually/races during the ST coverage. Worked great.

Yeah I agree, happy for that to happen again if we can get more CC Cars on the grid.

Just a small side note. I see SC are still trying to sort G/box problems. Even having new stronger parts made for the new G/box's. Now this is the kind of problem SC would never have I remember being told at one time, not like ST. This should have been all sorted in SC's full test program they would have run with the new cars, long before the cars ever hit the track. Should it not? SC are not to keen having over half the field in the garages at Bathurst by the sound of things.

As a spectator who watched the coverage from Pukekohe, the CC was incredibly boring racing. Was it about 6 cars total, that spread out so far over the short races.

Heres hoping they can get 20+ cars to make it exciting, with some top guys at the front. But so far this season it has been well below average.

I would rather see some indepth behind the scenes of V8ST in between, or some more closer/competitive racing.

Frankly I am surprised that the Cogent Cup even got 8 competitor for Taupo given the time of the year, and the lack of TV coverage. As for 'top guys' unfortunately all the so called top guys have moved on, however I predict there will be a reasonable good field of these cars at the last round because of the time of the year, and the lower cost to run at an Auckland facility.
