I did think that the grid would have been a tad bigger... However, I reckon the yop three will feature Lammers, Johansson and Cheever.

The grid was never going to be more than this for Kyalami.

The have more drivers signed up for next year, when a series of 6 races is likely.

That's a great group! I'm more excited about these 14 guys, then the 28 guys that ran in F1 the last 2-3 years. Forza Patrese! My money is on Johansson to win the first round. What happened to Alain Prost, btw?

I'm glad to see Laffite there, I was wondering why he wasn't on the previous list. Also, where is Jean-Pierre Jarier, I thought for sure this was right up his alley.

The ice racing doesn't start til 3 December. The media launch is the 19 and 20 November.

Not quite sure what Mr Prost's clashes are?????

Yeah, Cant go wrong with Johnasson, Cheever and Lammers in top 3 purely because they have recent racing experience. Mansell will definitely be up there.
When Prost joins in I think he'll hammer them.
I am so excited by this, i almost wet my pants when i saw the ad of Grandstand today.

I'd love to see Riccardo win in Kyalami, but I think he's been out of it too long to be competitive with Johansson and Lammers who are racing at the moment. Not to worry though, some more testing and races and he'll be back in the groove again.

Do you know what's really interesting about this. Its the first time since the Procar days that GP drivers are going head to head in equal machinery. When its stablized and everyone's up to speed it will be so interesting to see how people like Cheever, deCesaris [who I've always rated extremely highly as a driver] fare against the Mansells and Prosts.
