armchair racer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
if you look on the web site it states that 12 laps in total ( inc out lap and in lap ) , maybe they changed the rules somewhere along the line ?? maybe the organizers thought they needed the extra laps ?? ...

amanda stretton was the best part of the race report team stunning as jones rightly pointed out ..the only problem with the bbc coverage is that its not live

Murray is doing the "world feed" - his commentary is being carried on the gpmasters website too

I thought he said that he had expected his lower back to be the problem but that in fact it was an old neck injury that had actually been aggravated.

Emmo said that he was going to give Mansell a real run for his money tomorrow but if Nigel gets a decent start, I think there is every chance he will probably disappear down the road. The only question is whether his fitness (especially around the neck)will hold up, but then I guess that will apply also most of the grid!

What, has Brands Hatch been confirmed then??? I'd definitely prefer Brands to Silverstone for a British round.

Agree about the commentary, and the fact they didn't notice Salazar was out, despite him being on picture at the time (and his time having already scrolled across the screen) was pretty inexcusable. Still, at least Carlton Kirby wasn't commentating. I really want to watch it live on Motors, but I guess Murray will only be on the BBC... damn.

BBC for me, i can't miss the dual comeback "Mansell and Walker". Remember the banner all those years ago " Nigel Mansell he's the Stalker, Murray Walker he's the Talker".

I suspect Riccardo will have the edge in fitness over those ahead, despite the rolling start, but look out for the likes of Lammers and Johansson over the race distance as well.

Really pleased to see DeCesaris up near the front, always good to see your childhood hero has still got it isn`t it, i have to say i am more excited by this series than i have been by F1 for a while, it`s the 80`s all over again isn`t it, great stuff.

Emmo did the endurance bike race for A1GP - a charity do - through the streets of Estoril a couple of weeks back, and he was up there in the top group. Seriously fit - don't underestimate his staying power over an hour-long race. Mansell is still the absolute nuts in terms of laying it on the line (which is why we love the guy) but over a race distance?

I dont believe nigel would of put himself forward to take part if he didnt believe he could do it, he has proved in the Qualifying he still has the speed and i believe he will prove it in the race too - roll on Brands Hatch and Mansell Mania - british motorsport has missed that sort of occasion

But above all its great to see ALL these names back on a track
