Indy Weather Forecast for the 500

It has been beautiful weather here all week long...too long

The weather pattern may change, and it looks like I might get wet on Sunday, maybe even Monday...

A weather front is supposed to push into the Midwest this weekend, and it could stall somewhere over Indiana...If it camps out to the north of Indy or over/near Indy, rain will train along the southern side and on the front itself and we will be wet most of the day...

Keep your fingers crossed that it stalls to our south for Race Day...if that happens, we still have the threat of pop-up showers and storms, but at least there will be a chance to get a window of dry weather to get the race completed.

BTW...It is nearly impossible to get an accurate weather forecast here in Indy on Race Weekend, because there is too much riding on it...they always give the "Rose-Colored Glasses" forecasts and hope that we get it in...

Sunday - 30% chance of scattered storms, with a high in the mid 80s (F)...if that front stalls over us, those chances will double...

Sigh....
