i agree. rules is rules. i do speed too (and i have a "performance" car), but i'm happy to accept a fine or penalty points for doing so if i get caught. you should be paying attention enough to spot cameras and speed variations on the roads anyway, if you're not then you shouldn't be doing the speed you are doing, regardless of what car you're driving.

i know the gendarmes like to hide, but they're predictable once you know what to look for. watch your average speed, and keep an eye out for cars parked by the roadside and behind bridges and large objects. simples.

In 26 trips to Le Mans, we've only had one of our drivers caught - he'd been stuck in traffic and was catching the others up. His fine went into l'addition to be carved up at the end of the trip.

I've been cought once. Wasn't even during Le Mans time. In a Range Rover Freelander, doing 105mph... Had to pay at the next cashmachine. Something like 130 euro's.

Still no working apps then for the lasergendarmes in France then?

Is anyone else using Tapatalk to access Tenths on their mobile? I use it regularly now when out and about - brilliant!

I actually just use the Safari Browser on my iPhone. Works like a charm too. (is currently sitting as exams guard, bored to hell)

I used to but in comparison to Tapatalk Safari is total crap. I mean it. I didn't think I'd be convinced but Tapatalk is seriously good for accessing Tenths on the move.

Indeed, I find it very useful. An easy way of reading the forum.

The app is actually pretty cheap. And takes less space then the browsers, which I don't think make things easy. I also have a Samsung Gio Black so not exactly a big screen.
Damn apps increase in size each time they update and soon I'll only have space for 1 app in the damn thing after a year haha.

I've got Tapatalk and have used it for a couple of forums. I think I paid a whole 69p for it on the Android Market.

I've also been looking at International Data Roaming packages. Looks like I can get 30 days of 30MB/day for £15 with Orange, which should cover both LM24 and the LM Classic.

Wise words. I'd stopped visiting TT because my work banned forums (boooooo) and I hated viewing in Safari. Fabulous app

I found 'radardroid' (androïd) for the french radar/camera's. I'll test it on the way to Le Mans.... Allthough at the moment the ol' GTfour won't go above 80mph without pinging. Stuck wastegate...

probably a bit late now, but it's either 30mb for £3 a day or £15 for 30mb for the month. the £3 a day one is the best by far, it's only activated when you use roaming data.

orange have made a tidy bomb out of me for the best part of a decade on international roaming. i haven't ever found a decent workable solution to avoid charges without unlocking phones and swapping simcards, which life is a bit short for.

This App has been updated for 2013, with photos from Silverstone.

It will also be updated this week, following on from Spa and most drivers having now been confirmed.

We've also put in our own discussion on each entry, against each entry. These need a little updating.

Any missing cars or driver updates after this will be done once the Test Day has been completed..

If you find any problems with the App, please email or post and we'll do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible.
