Presumably with TKR more likely than not appearing at this round, that we may see a new livery on the PMM-owned Commodore

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.

Just got back in so a quick post....
Whincup has done very little laps, his car stopped on the far side of the circuit at one stage and was towed back in. Van Giz and Patrizzi seemed to be out all day. Ingall not far behind them. Bright went out for the first time just as I left @ 12. (That car looks great!) Courtney and Johnson looked very jovial like they were having a barrel of laughs all day. Both sharing equal track time. 021 didn't appear to be at the track at all. |

Just got back from the track myself.
021 was there but it didn't run while I was there. It was in the old supercheap colours with the silver fern across the bonnet. Morris' name on one side, Reid's on the other.. Tribes of people out there, but alot left (including us) when the rain pelted down at around midday. Bright's mobile looks awesome in the flesh, as do the 888 pigs and PMM. DJR look better on track than they do in the launch pics. PCR look a bit overdone and the Marshall moblie looks (and went!) pretty ordinary. SBR looked awesome and had a unique sound to anything else. It was great to see and hear the beasts again. Bring on Clipsal!! |

Damn, Im so busting for the V8s to start again.
the last couple of weeks I have been watching tapes of races from the last couple of years including last years Bathurst with the slippery last twelve laps. God, I cant handle waiting |

enjoy the shots guys/girls
good to see the cars in their new livery, and that unmistakable sound        i must say the guys that had anything to do with the designs on any of these cars should be congratulated, they all look very very impressive.

Wilson, SCAR & SBR cars look awesome. Brights is foul DJR not to bad better then the clipsal image but still not my favourite. after seeing all cars on track not this is the best year livery wise in a fair while.
