What makes the best the best?
Watching Motogp I began thinking why is Rossi go good. Then I thought of MS, the same applies. RB, argueably has the second best car on the grid. However he still does not seem to be in his bosses league. Other drivers come to mind. JV, regardless of what is thought of his mentality, in races he is still one of the best. Personally I dont think MS is the best driver on the grid, I think he might just be the smartest. So I have to wonder what really makes the best the best?:confused:

I think one of the reasons that TGF is so good , is because he can still take in huge amounts of data while still driving on the very edge . Its like he is on auto pilot , and he can take in things that are happening around him . Senna was like this too wasnt he .
Rossi sometimes makes it look like he's playing games with the oppersiton , he has a bad start and ends up in 12th place , only so he can come through them all to win. Like you Neil , i dont actually beleive that TGF is the VERY best out there overall , but he is very smart and combined with his natural speed it gives him a very good platform to perform on. |
