Can we go back to talking about Rush perhaps rather than this Pea band?
Saw it this afternoon (one of the highest density of 40/50 something blokes on their own, perhaps predictable for a rainy Tuesday in South London) and whole heartedly enjoyed it. Okay I'm notoriously easy on racing related films, not objecting too vigorously to the usually vilified "Driven" or "Michel Vaillant" but this seemed to work for me on a reasonable number of levels - very pleased it exists as a bit of cinema. |

Saw it last night!
I really thought it was amazing. Took some friends a long who didn't know the story or watched F1, It quite captured them and made them more interested in Motorsport. |

Watch it, otherwise I'll have to start discussing whether the LM24 subforum constitutes a valid epistemic community in its own right, and wouldn't that liven up Friday night at Le Mans?

Moving slightly back towards Le Mans...
https://twitter.com/PorscheGB_PR/sta...88266437525504 Second support race (apart from the Legends which should be Group C) next year will be a Porsche Cup race with the Carrera Cup France and GB fields combined. As for Rush, I'll be going to see it next Wednesday evening right after work. Last edited by Victor_RO; 18 Sep 2013 at 11:32. |

Following the link gives some very odd dates. Do Porsche GB know something that the rest of us don't? |

Happy to see the Porsches supporting at LM. A good opportunity for Porsche to give their young drivers a taste of the circuit and take in the atmosphere on race week.
Hopefully there will be a few guest entries to boot. |

If the spine isn't white my mild OCD is going to go into overdrive, it's bad enough the 2011 and 12 annuals put the titles opposite ways around...

The early editions have the titles on the spine the other way around too, so those books are standing upside down.
Can't stand the one black spine (1990) but can you do? |

They wouldn't...
They couldn't... I'm actually sat staring at a row of Rallycourse which changed abruptly from red to white in 2005. |

Blu-Ray arrived today.
Bit of a strange audio issue with the RLM boys. Sam Collins sounds like he's commentating via mobile phone on the section I'm watching now. That said watching it with RLM comms has the memories coming back. |

I am not at all impressed with the delivery time from the UK to Belgium, so I don't expect to receive mine before tuesday.

And to think I'd almost forgotten how insane the final couple of hours were.
Understandably I think the DVD is quite backweighted towards the latter half of the race. |

I really thought this race was interesting through out the whole race. From start, to the #1's trouble, the pace of the night, The GT battle through the whole race, the flaming HPD, to the final couple of nerve breaking hours.
However 2013 will always be a special mixed feeling race, especially for any dane, as it was the saddest and greatest moment in danish motorsport, maybe even for danish sport in general! I really look forward to receive my BD. |
