I guess he can drive until he`s 40 or 50, so let`s say he has like 15 more years to race, he has won 3 chamionships already in less than 10 years, so I think he will win 4 or more in his carrer.

5 at least, I'm amazed he can maintain his motivation, I'd love to see him drive a F1 car for a few laps, would that ever be possible?

In fact that is one of the things about the current racing era that SUCKS In other decades drivers would move from series to series, now everybody specializes and it would be hard to get owner/sponsor approval to try another series, even for a short time.

Only 40 or 50? All I have to say to that is Dave Marcis, Geoff Bodine, and a few others would probably laugh at that idea. And if Dale Earnhardt was still with us, he would too. He would have been 50 this year, and was still racing, and as far as I know had no plans to retire.

I think Jeff Gordon will most likely beat the current record for championships, and set a new one by the time he's 40, then he'll still be driving for another 15 to 20 years after that. Then he'll do the TV host thing. Nope, I'd say Jeff Gordon isn't going to retire for a long time.
