Those Player's boys are indeed on a tear, They have picked up points in every race since Milwaukee. Having Tony Cicale as an engineer is s definite bonus.

Never would have predicted this turnaround for the team.
Couldn't have picked a better place to do it than Vancouver. Funny how everything turned around only after their contracts were renewed. Usually it's the other way around. (Too bad for them that Helio's already got the championship wrapped up). Just don't tell Brack that I said that. |

Players' Forsythe is in a deseperate situation due to cigarette advertising being forced out three races from the end of next season - they will be unemployed unless they show some other team some really good results this year. There is some brave talk that Forsythe himself will support this team (and that's the end of Bryan Herta's career, I'd guess) but all in all it's a bad situation and likely Patrique and Tags will be out of a ride.

I don't think Pat and Alex have to worry too much, they have proved their worth as drivers and will undoubtably land jobs with other teams...
Sadly, Player's and its many employees are not in the same boat. Next season could easily be Player's last. I have heard that Gerry Forsythe is looking for another major title sponsor to carry the team, but nothing has been found yet. A while ago I heard Bombardier as a possible sponsor, but I haven't heard anything since... |

I'd love to see Molson Breweries step up to the plate.
They already invest so much into the two Canadian races, and they've been a primary sponsor before. Didn't Sullivan once drive for Molson? |

What a heartbreaker for Tag, he was blowing them all away , noone was even close to him today. Then the bad luck hits him again.
Then to see a stupid driver Kenny (Too Old ) Brack hit everyone on the track including Pat well lets just say its a day Players would like to forget. I hope people see now that Kenny Brack is only good for turning Left on Small ovals and even that he has trouble with. Brack proved today how to screwup everyones race. |
