i would prefer the old format rather than the hyperpole but things must move to allow the TV schedule to work, having a fixed every hour safty car period will be next to allow for adverts or perhaps we will eventually follow the shortening of the race to 24 minutes of le mans for those with short attention spans. Only joking by the way

If there are four Porsche customer chassis next year you've got to imagine at least a couple would be doing Le Mans.
Could we be getting out towards 14-15 cars? This is my premature no insight 'gut feel' list: Confirmed (WEC): 9 Toyota Toyota Peugeot Peugeot Ferrari Ferrari Porsche Penske Porsche Penske Cadillac Ganassi Semi-confirmed: 1 Cadillac Ganassi (2) Hopefully: 5 Customer Porsche Customer Porsche Porsche Penske (3) Glickenhaus Glickenhaus Maybe: 5 Cadillac AXR Toyota (3) Porsche Penske (4) ByKolles Customer Porsche (3) |

Man that is already out of date! At least one privateer Porsche confirmed with JOTA/Hertz/Singer team. Hopefully it's a two-car programme.

So that's at least 10 confirmed for the full season. Awesome.

I find myself absolutely buzzing. Next year Le Mans will finally feel like it actually matters again, after a five year hiatus. The ACO have saved their centenary race by the skin of their teeth!

Nice to see the entries in Hyperclass reach double figures, hopefully a few more can join

Next season is going to be well worth watching, that's for sure!

Still a bit of work to do clearly but I'd say we can move the Glicks into the semi-confirmed column now for Le Mans next year. So that's maybe 13 cars without factoring in a possible second JOTA Porsche. |

So with these Hypercars pretty much confirmed and Ricky Bobby in Garage 56 we are now eating into the LMP2/GTE Am allocations of the last couple of years.

That is a brilliant idea, make the livery something related to the movie, maybe paint a panther in the back window or something. Maybe get Wonder Bread sponsorship? Or just list Ricky Bobby as one of the drivers! |

Jim might have to file for 2 full season WEC entries to get both his cars in for LM, a repeat of this year looks unlikely. 2 full season entries for next year sound like a rather big question mark at this time. |

This from Richard Mille is pretty ambiguous so it will be interesting to see what happens. Whether it's the same case for an ARC Bratislava for example if they need to miss rounds, who knows. |

Maybe, just maybe the WEC and the ACO are starting to see the value of more boutique manufacturers and privateers backed by powerful sponsors (Jota-Hertz for instance). And if so, hopefully they can have a meaningful conversation with IMSA about Glickenhaus being an added value to their series as well.

At no point have BMW said anything other than that they won't be there in 2023 - this is VERY good news, an additional factory effort from 2024

all true, however from a PR point of view next year will be a highlight, would be great to have BMW and Honda as well, 2024 will be a 'normal' LM year...

Imagine having that '23 grid, then adding Lambo, BMW, Alpine, maybe some Acuras, and a cavalry of extra privateers. |
