Alister to New Zealand.
Alister McRae will be back in the Rally of New Zealand next month in a privateer Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.

It'll be good to see him back. Apparently he's also doing the Rally Portugal (non WRC event) in a Focus WRC at the end of the month.
He needs to get his exposure up as his Mitsubishi contract expires at the end of the year & there's no guarantee for 2004. |

Alister is a very competent consistent driver with a lot of development experience. it would be a tragedy if he couldn't find a drive.

Its a shame, I met him here in Perth at xmas and he thought that Mitsubishi were going to go with the Colt, shows that they are messing him around, he didnt seem too happy. This was meant to be his break but instead its "breaking" his career! I think there is no worry about him not finding a drive though.
