New sponser for Jordan!!

Just came across this on the teams website...

Tiger Telematics have tied up a multi-million dollar deal with Jordan Grand Prix. Jordan will carry the Gametrac logo on both of their EJ13 cars at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend and then for the whole of the 2004 season.

The deal coincides with the launch of Gametrac, a pocket sized device offering SMS text capability, exciting games and GPS tracking aimed at children of all ages.

Tiger Telematics is a designer, developer and marketer of mobile telematic systems and services that combine global positioning and voice recognition technology to locate and track vehicles and people down to street level across the globe.

Michael Carrender, CEO Tiger Telematics Inc. said, "The deal with Jordan enables us to spread awareness of both our brand and our products to the huge Global audience interested in Formula One through one of its most established, forward looking teams. The on-car signage is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the marketing opportunities such a deal represents. We look forward to a fruitful, on-going relationship with Jordan Grand Prix."

Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix, said, "I’m very pleased to bring Tiger Telematics on board with Jordan as they are a smart company setting the trend in an innovative industry. We are delighted to help them launch Gametrac, a product which I’ll certainly be giving my kids to try out, and I look forward to continuing our business partnership throughout 2004."

Good news for the team.

New sponsor(s) for Jordan!

If you saw the camera on the nose of Firman's car on first qualifying, you might saw Sicily, Carrefour and another new sponsor in the side-back on the nose. And if you saw the normal cameras you might saw in the car another new sponsor behind the "Shanghai circuit" promotion!
