lemans 24 hours: historic spot race (dc and ps2)

so, im not sure how many people are going to be interested (im hoping mf throws in a time or two)

so, jump in your fav group c car (lancia, sauber, jaguar, or peugeot) and hit the track at lemans.

rules:

do you runs in time trial with as many laps as youd like (ive time trial to run 5 laps at each attempt, fwiw)

post your fastest lap and if youd like, you sector times. you can also post your setup if you choose to do so.

tyre were and fuel useage off and sunny skys.

drive cleanly, you must keep at least 2 wheels on the track at all times. the brown on the side of the road counts as road and at the last chicanes, the green bit of curbing is also road.

you can do as many runs as youd like to and post as many times as youd like. the spot race will be over as soon as nobody else posts times.

and, of course, this is lemans so have fun!

Cool concept dude, I'll do some laps on the DC and PS2 versions. Probably have to wait until the weekend though as I'm going to tile the bathroom tonight. I will definitely do this thought as LeMans (either version) are among my favorite racing games.

Be looking for my times either Sunday or Monday. Those are fast nasty times though. I think my fastest at LeMans so far is a 3'29.105"

I have incentive now and a goal time, huh?

i'm getting my PS2 soon and I was thinking of gettin LM24 - but i'm curious about the 24 hour event, can you save midpoint in the race or do you have to cram as much coffee into your mouth as possible to keep you awake long enough?!!!!

You can save anytime you want, just drive into the pits and you have the option to save before your pit work is started. It is a great game, especially the more you get into it. There are truly some awesome cars to win...
You can also pick it up for about $20 in america, I would think that it is pretty cheap over there as well. The other nice thing about it is you can do a 24 min., 240 min., or 24 hour race. Plus there is always the Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta.
