Seems to me they are just trying to make life even harder for themselves!!! I'll bet they will want to put this one behind them install a new fuel tank and head for Spa! No time to lick wounds just dust themselves off and get on with it, Brit style!

I didn't want to enter this conversation but I can't help myself. I work at Team Modena and was at the Nurburgring last weekend. I won't say much as it would not be right to do so at this time but I will say that we have appealed the exclusion and feel that we have a strong case.

We are in danger to losing another thread to the diesel/petrol repetition, sorry, discussion. We know these things are relevant to all LM based series at present, but lets keep that general topic out of here. I know it is difficult to do when someone starts it and you just have to put your two-pennyworth in.

I heard rumours about the R10's competing at Silverstone. Is this true?

Most of the Pug v Audi rumours tended to be would Peugeot go over to Petit, or Audi to Brazil. It ould be good for us if they went to Silverstone, and I bet McNish would love it!

DSC have hinted more than once at least one R10 would be out for Silverstone.

Hints are all well and good but they are but rumours! If rumours all came true where would we all be?

Put it this way, I believe DSC know for a fact (or at least 90% sure) an Audi will be at Silverstone, but can't confirm it.

Great! IF it happens. I'm still gonna be there cos I'm marshalling so no matter what turns up I'm seriously looking forward to re-aquainting myself with some of the guys I met at Le Mans!

it has to be spa f0r me went there to watch lmes last year and was taken back b the track ... although there was a restart twice due to 2 big crashes

for me Spa, Monza and Silverstone are just a little less than a 24h of LM or a 12h of Sebring... really much better than say Petit or Laguna... those are really pieces of history!!!

and after 4 1000km of Monza, 2 1000km of Silverstone i am now going to see my first 1000km of Spa!

Maybe , the Lola will end up with Ian Dawson's Taurus effort ? He did say he was looking at having a Lola , but P1 or P2 im not sure , it can be converted both ways though .
