Michael.... The 2003 Ferrari will be the best out there, Rubens already said (rather naively, but proberbly truthfully) that he expects Ferrari to incorperate team orders and Rubens will have 2 engine destucts buttons attatched to his car just incase one fails

I'll wait until the new MAC and Ferrari are unleashed. Could get ugly for everyone else.

I tell you what, if come Spain or even Monaco Rubens is still ahead, it will be really interesting to see what Ferrari do in terms of their team strategy. I mean, it's not like TGF has JUST been unlucky - he was comprehensibly outdriven by Rubens this weekend, and not for the first time either.
Rubens in an F2003. Long odds, but come on!! It's worth a fiver... |

It'll be Kimi, mark my words (and then make me look like a fool by bringing them back at the end of the season ).

Yeah, everyone's saying "Ooooh, the new Ferrari!!". I said only last week "if anyone thinks that the new Ferrari won't be miles ahead of the competition they're delusional" and I still think that, but... new Mac on the way too.
Put it like this. If LAST YEAR'S Mac is on a par with last year's Ferrari... well... we could be in for quite a season!! |

I said Michael, more from wishful thinking than anything else. Really, I can't lose this season. If my beloved Ferrari loses, then Michael will retire, and I will see my favourite driver (Fisi) driving my favourite car...

I'll tell you after Imola. It'll all be down to how strong the F2003 is.

Lee, no doubt that the F2003 will be strong, it's how reliable it is.

Despite MS's slow start and the new points & qualifying system, I still think he's the favorite. Kimi's luck won't hold up and MS MS hasn't had this many problems in a long time. Ferrari is faster now and didn't develop their old chasis like McLaren did and it's still faster.

Under the new rules, the "quickest car" doesn't always start on the front row. It doesn't matter if the 03 GA is quicker if they make mistake under pressure. The rules are putting pressure on them which they are not used to.
Kimi could do it- handy lead, new car to come, quicker (but not as experienced) than DC, totally calm. |

I hope it's Kimi. And TGF is obviously struggling with the new rules. Can't handle racing with other cars, needs to be out front

Kimi is definitely the one with the mongo cojones.
Some day he will have a big incident and the aggression will be dimmed, but for now he is FEARLESS. |

Kimi Raikkonen has been driving like a man possessed with the spirits of Ayrton Senna, Jim Clark, Juan Manuel Fangio, Tazio Nuvolari, Gilles Villeneuve, and every other great departed driver you can think of put together so far this season. I haven't seen or heard anything like him. He's on another level than the rest of the grid.
That being said, Kimi's too good. I don't, I can't expect him to keep this up. He has more points after three races this year than Michael Schumacher did at this time last year, for crying out loud! I expect Michael to win with the new car at Imola, and for Kimi to retire with some unforseen problem. However, I don't see Imola as a return to the 2001-2 "status quo" of complete Ferrari dominance. Williams will bounce back in a big way sometime at midseason; Renault will likely win late in the year, say, at Hungary; and the winner at Monaco will be someone so unexpected that I will not even try to guess it right now. In the end, though, I expect it to be a three-horse race between Schumacher and the two McLarens. Barrichello, rather than having every race where he is in the lead be sabotaged to pad Schumacher's point total, will simply be sacked. |
