So many car manufacturers are cutting British jobs, yet Spyker are bucking that trend - on a much smaller scale of course, but still, good for them.

Not sure what is bad for Amsterdam...as Spyker is based in Zeewolde.

In the end the Spyker-Saab venture should benefit the small sportscar marque. Today I heard that Victor Muller plans to bring out three to four new Saab models a year in the upcoming few years, relaunching Saab back into a healty car manufacturer. Ofcourse it'd be unwise to take Saab money for the Spyker cars in the beginning, but if Saab starts to be slightly profitable,I recon we'll see a healthy increase in funds going to this caracterfull little sportscar manufacturer.

Believe me,they really do need money. Victor Muller has been hunting for new investors constantly and the fact that Spyker managed to enter the big races was largely acredited to the fact that there have been some pretty stuborn and tenacious car nuts behind the whole project.

The silence around Spyker at the moment is not comforting me. Anyone's got some info/rumours? |

New livery for Spyker: http://www.flickr.com/photos/spykers...7623793860968/
According to http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...ance-4024.html Spyker will also run with 1245 kg such that they can use a larger restrictor and the wider tyres (like BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche). The displacement of the engine is increased to 4.0 liter. |

Really cool lookin' livery! I allways loved the combo of red and black, nice'nd agressive.
Bigger restrictors,wider tyres,more displacement,crackin' driver line up...if ever there was a dark horse,it's this little Spyker! |

Over a single lap, they can keep up with anyone. They just need to increase their race speed, and hopefully they can capitalise on a bit of good fortune (i.e. Corvettes driving into each other, Porsches throwing wheels at one another, and BMWs spinning into each other). |

Wow, just saw the new Spyker on the front page of PLM. Looks good. I love the yellow and blue, but black and red are a great combination aswell.
