Invincible should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just looking through an old video i'd used....

to record Father Ted last night and after the show had finished it suddenly the image of an Auto Trader logo was visible, then it came clear that i'd just recorded a bit over a 1996 review that was shown by the BBC christmas 96, it started from Knockhill from where it was last taped over albeit the quality was rubbish considering that it had been recorded using a very very old VCR that we use to have , still it was good to hear the voice of Murray Walker again doing the BTCC and I certainly now won't be using that tape to record my favourite comedy

at the end of the review there was a small bit showing some of the funny moments of 96, it showed John Cleland being flown over Silverstone with himself attached to the wings of the plane and Alain Menu being custard pied!!!

What's the oldest piece of BTCC coverage from the BBC you've taped, get your tapes out everyone!!!

I'll start with the 1996 review of the BTCC!

I don't have any BBC BTCC on tape, as I tended to watch them and not tape them.

Self-taped? Brands Hatch and Donington rounds from the latter part of 1988.

Bought tapes - the BHP 1988-2001 videos, the Castrol promo tape of 1987 and a wonderful Ford sponsored review of 1968.

Ive got A old round from Brands hatch from 1990 i think . I done exactly the same as you Invincible . It was only after i recorded something on a old tape that i found some BTCC on it . I had already cut the first 10 mins off or so , but still , at least i has most of it left. Now im talking about it , i will have to try and dig it out of the cupboard and give it another watch .
